"Large New England Landscapes"
Mitchell Johnson Exhibit at 425 Market Street San Francisco
The third edition of San Francisco Art Week will take place January 17-25, 2026. The Fog Design + Art Fair is on view at Fort Mason in San Francisco, January 21-25, 2026. Overlapping with these events is my exhibit, Large New England Landscapes, at 425 Market Street in San Francisco, January 4-April 3, 2026. The exhibit features seven large oil paintings made between 2014-2025. Here are a few installation photos. You can see a reel of the exhibit on my instagram. Thanks to Jan Casey and Associates for curating and installing this exhibition.
A second exhibit, Giant Abstract and landscape Paintings, opens at 555 California Street, January 11. Both exhibits can be viewed any day of the week. 425 Market Street is open 24/7.
“North Truro (Dusk),” 2024 appears on the back cover of the January 12, 2026 New Yorker Magazine.
